Milestone achieved: Eight years ago, Kristo founded Simple Design Works. That’s eight years of creativity and collaboration mixed with FIFA, laughter, coffee and a lot of learning. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Let’s start at the beginning
At a pivotal moment as a senior engineer of a British manufacturing business, Kristo left his employer to set up his own company that we now know as Simple Design Works. Looking back it may sound like a moment of madness but actually came with complete clarity.
Designing meaningful products is Kristo’s vocation. The first project that he took on for Simple Design Works was for Nissan to redesign the production tooling for the paint shop of the ‘Infinity’ range. The project was so successful, Nissan later rolled out the solution across the whole production line. The customer base steadily expanded and Kristo took on his first employee – a CAD technician – to help speed up projects and fully concentrate on company growth.
